Guest Performances
The School of Music is dedicated to bringing guests to campus for the enrichment of students and the community. Each fall the Woods Piano Concert Series hosts an internationally acclaimed classical pianist and the spring Jazz Piano Concert Series brings top or emerging artists to campus. Alumni perform on campus as recipients of the Encore or Curtain Call Award.
All guest performances are free of charge and open to the public.

Jazz Piano Concert with Guest Artist Ted Rosenthal
Join us for an evening of jazz with a performance from Thelonious Monk International Jazz Piano Competition winner and leading jazz pianist/composer, Ted Rosenthal. His orchestral performances include solo and featured appearances with The Detroit Symphony, The Phoenix Symphony, The Boston Pops, The Grand Rapids Symphony, The Rochester Philharmonic, The Pittsburgh Symphony and The Fort Worth Symphony.
