In addition to performing regular recitals at Belmont, the group performs as guest artists at off-campus venues and has also performed at CBDNA, NBA, and TMEA conferences. Belmont University String Chamber Orchestra & Symphony Orchestra
The University String Chamber and Symphony Orchestras will present a very special concert Thursday, February 9, at 7:30 p.m. in McAfee Concert Hall. School of music faculty member and violinist Elisabeth Small will solo with both ensembles in her final time performing with the orchestras before her retirement at the end of the semester. Small will play Vivaldi’s “Winter” from The Four Seasons and Vaughan Williams’ The Lark Ascending. Also on the program will be Tomaso Albinoni’s Sinfonia in G Major and Dvorak’s Symphony no. 8. The concert is free and open to the public.

Join Belmont University's College of Music and Performing Arts for the thirty-third annual President's Concert and Reception. The evening will showcase the talent of the School of Music students while raising scholarship funds for aspiring musicians and performing artists. The concert will begin at 6:30 pm followed by a dessert reception at 7:45 pm. Premier works from the College of Music and Performing Arts Fall 2022-Spring 2023 performance season will be showcased.
