Music Student Performances

Belmont University’s School of Music offers students a variety of performing ensembles that showcase the School of Music’s incredible musical diversity. With 25 instrumental and 14 vocal ensembles, audiences are sure to find a style they enjoy, including chamber music, orchestral, choral, jazz, bluegrass, country, popular hits or gospel.

Musical Theatre and Opera tickets are available through the Belmont Box Office. All faculty and student ensemble performances and recitals are free of charge and open to the public. Some student events may be live streamed. Visit the live stream page  for more information.

This concert marks the culmination of an immersive chamber music course focused on both historical context and ensemble artistry. Under the leadership of cellist Dr. Carmine Miranda and celebrated faculty from the strings department, students engage deeply with repertoire from the Classical era to the present, exploring stylistic traditions, performance practices, and collaborative interpretation. Through intensive rehearsal and guided study, each ensemble refines its understanding of classical chamber music while developing the essential skills of nuanced, communicative performance.

Sounds of Belmont

Join Belmont University’s College of Music and Performing Arts for Sounds of Belmont: The 35th Annual President’s Concert & Reception on Saturday, April 20th in the Fisher Center at Belmont University. Experience an evening of stories and songs to support our talented students. The concert will begin at 6:30 p.m. followed by a festive dessert reception for all guests and performers. The purchase of a ticket to this concert and reception will benefit endowed music and theatre scholarship funds for students in the college. Premier works from the College of Music and Performing Arts Fall 2024-Spring 2025 performance season will be showcased.
